Never played this format?Here's how it works.

  1. Two players. One team. Another team across from you.
  2. Each player plays their own ball.
  3. Handicap strokes, hole by hole. The lowest handicap in the match is the base. Everyone else receives strokes based on their difference from the base, applied on the appropriate handicap holes.
  4. Best net score counts. On every hole, each team's best net score is its score. The better score wins the hole.
  5. Win holes. Win your match. Advance.
